meet melissa...

This is my wonderful girlfriend Melissa. She and I have been dating for almost 5 months and things are going really great. She is a case worker for a non-profit organization in Jefferson City, MO and works with youth that have a mental illness (she is really awesome at it). We met 5 years ago on the University of Missouri campus and this past year finally started dating. We have a lot of fun and love to be as goofy as possible. God has really blessed us and for that we are really thankful.

my weary feet...

there are days when our feet grow tired and our strength fails. thankfully, our Lord does not grow tired or weary. he is the everlasting God. the creator of the ends of the earth. he gives us strength. he increases the power of the weak. thanks father for giving rest to my weary feet and the strength to take the next step.

rest for your feet...

shalom

At Karis, we have recently launched a new project designed to connect concerned citizens who desire to see Columbia changed, particularly her downtown "District.", with opportunities to do so. Shalom is a Hebrew word that means peace or wholeness. So, this initiative is expressing our heart to see Columbia, Mo be brought to rest and wholeness in Jesus through the working of His mercy through His local church.
